recent travels part 1 The Moesgaard Museum is a treasure of experiences in time and space and thought.  After walking through the known history of our species and closest anscestors, and then the local histories of our species and their cultivation of ritual and culture during the bronze age, I then took in the magnificent structure that housed this rich story.  You can walk along the green grass of the roof of the buidling to find spacious views of the countryside and sky, but it was when i walked into the grand hallway of this beautiful building that my ears came alive in wonder.

Shortly after being in Denmark I had a chance to tour Catalonia in October of 2017.  Here is a little video of three pieces I have written while there.  I found my muses, on Mas Costa, a beautiful 16th century villa out in the country by the mediavl village of Besalu. It was here that I met the cantankerous Montserrina and the sweet Dali and the mischevious puppy Maiea.  Here is my music portrait of them.
